Simon Clitherow: Co-founder of Haldane, Simon has spent over 20 years supporting clients in Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Retail and IT Industries. Having run programmes with budgets in excess of £100M, managing complex change is Simon’s forte. He has worked across industry sectors in many scenarios where his project and commercial strengths have led to the delivery of business and technology solutions in companies like Barclays Bank, RBS, BP, M&S, HSBC and Royal & Sun Alliance.  He acts as “trusted advisor” to many clients and excels in identifying the priorities likely to make most impact in complex or uncertain business situations.

Nigel Leppitt: Co-founder of Haldane. Nigel has over 20 years experience in Business Improvement, Change and Transformation. He has exploited skills in JIT, BPR, Benchmarking and Strategy Implementation in many turnaround scenarios where innovation is required to deliver return on investment in top or bottom line initiatives. He has held senior positions in IBM and Fidelity and worked in many major organisations in Financial Services, Technology, Manufacturing and the Public Sector. His passion is helping organisations deliver results after complex transactions and he has published in the field of empowerment and strategy implementation. He holds and MA in HR Strategy and Change, an MSC in Management Sciences and various post graduate qualifications in the field of Company Direction and Management.  

Alison Booth: is a Programme Director with extensive experience operating at board level, with a “can do” attitude, and a reputation for troubleshooting and delivery.  A strategic thinker with sound business awareness and a record of success in driving major change programmes to release business benefit.  She has led large and complex programmes with significant scale and business impact (multi-country, teams of 150 people, budgets £225m, 5 year programmes), managing change affecting people, processes and technology. Alison possesses extensive knowledge of industry best practice, particularly in programme and change management. Her career highlights include the radical restructuring of a prominent IT department, the direction of the transition of a major transformational outsourcing deal, and working to address performance and delivery problems in a key account in France and Holland. She also lead the German arm of a pan-European outsourcing contract, and worked alongside an Operations Director to reorganise 81 business organisations into 47 across the UK. Formerly with Capgemini she was Delivery Strategy and Transitions Director of the Management Team for the AM Service line (1300 people), with accountability for designing and setting delivery standards, contributing to the sale of new business and responsible for the transition of all new UK business including all offshore work. Her experience covers a wide variety of industry sectors including Financial Services, Utilities, Automotive, Telecoms, Public Services, Agriculture and Food sectors. Prior to that, she trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Young.

Andrew Arnold: is a professional interim Programme and Project Manager with a particular forte for successfully leading multi-million pound IT and Corporate change programmes. Possessing enough presence and strength of character to successfully operate at all levels within an organisation, his management and delivery skills are underpinned by extensive experience in multiple industry sectors. These include, Banking, Financial Services, Life and Pensions, Utilities, and Central Government business arenas. Andrew has extensive experience in project or programme recovery, moving failing initiatives back to cost effective, quality deliverables. He can understand, explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner. His diverse track record has included managing the transformation programme for a £500-million outsource, delivering a new corporate IT infrastructure for an energy trading floor, managing the introduction of Gordon Brown’s ultra-long (50-year) government bond, strategic and regulatory projects at an internet bank, a £10-million corporate relocation programme, delivery of a £2-million secure banking data exchange and delivery assurance for a £90-millioned PPP on behalf of a major government department. top ^

Andy Johns: has worked as a management consultant since 1997. He has substantial project and programme management experience, having worked at a senior level in the Financial Services, Energy, Retail and Telecoms industries, often acting as a trusted advisor to his clients. He has very strong experience in project planning and delivery, strategy development, financial analysis and effective programme set up or rescue. This has been developed on a range of large change programmes and strategic reviews. Andy achieves success for his clients largely by utilising excellent communication and facilitation skills, his structured and analytical approach and through demonstrating a high level of integrity. His track record includes delivering Programme recovery and running a Global PMO for a major Insurer, establishing the key programme management disciplines for a multi-million dollar global change programme in a Global Oil company. For an FS major Andy, reviewed, re-structured and initiated an underperforming programme to rationalise and re-brand the existing unit trust portfolio, and launched new products and managed a benchmarking exercise to understand how the IT development services compared with other organisations for and Oil and Gas global payer. top ^

Jan Cowan: has a proven track record of improving business performance through change management. Providing expert service at both strategic and operational levels, Jan is an experienced trainer and facilitator, with excellent project management skills, a flexible approach and a high-energy ‘can do’ attitude. With a wide diversity of experience spanning retail, financial services, public sector and performance improvement sectors, Jan has held management positions in both client and agency environments.  As a coach, project manager and trainer she helps organisations, teams and individuals understand and manage change, and to take ownership and control in designing their future. Prior to her consultancy work Jan worked for Maritz Ltd, globally the largest integrated Performance Improvement agency. Here she was instrumental in designing and delivering people focused solutions throughout the organisation and with clients.  Earlier in her career, Jan held senior marketing and operational roles within HSBC Asset Management and Sanwa (a leading Japanese Bank). Prior to this she spent a number of years in I.T. and  management roles within Dixons Stores Group and Storehouse Group. Jan has a postgraduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and is a Chartered Marketer. She is an NLP practitioner, and is accredited in the use of culture and behavioural psychometric assessment tools. top ^

Mike Pease: has over 30 years experience of successfully implementing and managing change in both IT and Business programmes and projects within the Insurance, Banking, Finance and Utilities industries. He works at board level with SME’s and senior management level within Plcs in both business and technical disciplines. Mike has a strong delivery focus and is frequently retained to stabilise and redirect programmes in danger of failing. Formally trained in Project Management, Systems Analysis and System Design, Mike brings experience of well-established and regulated business sectors (Finance & Utilities), with that of rapidly developing markets (e-solutions). Mike’s broad range of skills enable him to work equally well with board level executives, technical staff and suppliers.
